The regeneration process of Playa D'en Bossa isn't only in the imagination. This Saturday 25 July a giant art installation by a local Ibicenco artist will become an addition to the area improving the view for countless beach visitors. Area landlords Apartamentos Jet have commissioned legendary graffiti Jerom (responsible for other recognisable street art around the island including the famous art-piece on Ignacio Wallis) to paint the sound barrier wall next to the ever-popular Bora Bora.
An eyesore for anyone coming to visit the beach area and particularly to the newly opened restaurant bar Delano the wall stands at around 6m high and nearly 20m long and will take Jerom and his 2 assistants nearly 2 days to complete.
The process will be recorded and edited into a short film for loading onto the Delano facebook page and youtube.com.
To watch the action taking place live come to Delano over this weekend of 25/26th July and see the art come to life.
Viva Playa D'en Bossa!
Painting starts from 10am Saturday morning 25th July.
