Over the next few weeks in spring, a combination of live music from some of the island’s finest talents and a variety of children’s activities from the Clowndoscopio Association are set to bring the old marketplace of Eivissa town to life.
Organized by the Town Hall of Vila, ‘Els Dissabtes al Mercat Vell’ is an initiative for children that is in its third year, widely known to families in Ibiza as a programme that gives them some nice opportunities to spend Saturday mornings with their kids in the historic centre of Eivissa.
Over the next few weeks expect live music from the likes of The Boogie Band, Projecte Mut, Ivan Domenech and Can Blau Gospel at the old market. The ‘Reciclowns’ (part of the Clownidoscopio Association) will be keeping the little people entertained with puppet workshops and other activities for children including painting, games and craft workshops.
The Saturday events of ‘Els Dissabtes al Mercat Vell’ are open to all members of the public and are free for all.
